AN INQUEST has opened into the death of a Flintshire woman in a choking episode.
Patricia Guest, of Ffordd Pennant, Mostyn, sadly died at Glan Clwyd Hospital on December 9.
At County Hall in Ruthin on Monday (December 18), an inquest was opened into the the 72-year-old's death.
It was told that Mrs Guest suffered a hypoxic event as a result of choking on a steak in a restaurant.
A pathologist's provisional cause of death is choking.
A full inquest has been adjourned pending further investigation.
