Airbus apprentices had the chance to learn about the road safety from emergency service experts.
North Wales Police's South Flintshire team said its Airbus Community Beat Manager arranged guest speakers to raise awareness among 190 of the aerospace company's apprentices about the dangers of 'the fatal five.'
Those five fatal offences are speeding, drink and drug driving, dangerous driving including unnecessary risk taking, failing to wear a seat belt and using a mobile phone whilst driving.
Speakers included representatives from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police's Roads Policing Unit.
The event also raised awareness of Olivia’s Story - a powerful road safety film about 17-year-old Olivia Alkir from Ruthin, who was tragically killed in June 2019 following a collision whereby two young drivers were racing.

A spokesman for the South Flintshire Policing team said: "Unfortunately we tend to see an increase in drink and drug driving around this time of year.
"As we get closer to Christmas we’ll continue to support the national Operation Limit campaign to remind motorists of the dangers of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
"Enforcement takes place across North Wales 24/7, however education inputs such as these are just as important to help prevent Fatal Five offences in the first place."
