MOLD will welcome a new KFC venue to the town centre next week after a year of planning.
A new KFC venue is set to open on Chester Road in Mold, Flintshire, on Monday, December 18, at 10.30am.
The team at the new venue welcomed the Mayor and Deputy of Mold, Cllr Teresa Carberry and Cllr Sarah Taylor this week to see the new eatery.
On Facebook, a KFC spokesperson said: "Our Mayor and Deputy were invited this evening to a pre launch to meet the Manager Ashley and his team.
"It's great to hear that the restaurant has employed 32 staff with over half from Mold itself and the others from in and around Flintshire."
Inside there is seating for around 38-people or there's the option to click and collect or place an order for home delivery.
Throughout the year, the store will also be fundraising for Hope House with a collection pot available.

A planning application was lodged in December 2022 with Flintshire Council by TJ Morris, the company which owns Home Bargains, to change the use of the former Checkpoint car service centre on Chester Road.
The KFC venue opens just a month after the launch of a new Greggs store which is located next door.
