ARMED police were called to an incident in Flintshire yesterday (Tuesday, December 12).
Officers were called to the Meadowbank area of Holway, Holywell at about midday.
Residents said police blocked off access to the street, and said there were multiple armed officers in attendance.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We received a call to attend a concern for safety incident in the Meadowbank area of Holywell.
"As a result, it was necessary to deploy specialist officers in order to speak to a male, who were able to ensure there was no longer an immediate risk to the individual."
