TWO FINTSHIRE-based companies have joined forces to ensure a vulnerable lady doesn't go cold this winter.
CAFgas CIC, a heating company based in Deeside, has collaborated with CYD Innovation in Holywell to deliver a special gift this Christmas.
When Jenny Burgan, from Colwyn Bay, discovered that she hadn't qualified for an Eco Grant to fund a much needed boiler, she didn't know who to turn to for help.
She eventually reached out to CYD Innovation admitting that she couldn't afford the cost during such trying times. Luckily, owner Steve Reynolds jumped at the chance to assist.
Together with CAFgas CIC founder James Hunt, the pair found a way to happily reduce the cost of the boiler by £750.
Not only that, but the non-profit organisations offered to fit a boiler for a reduced rate as well as offering five-years of maintenance, completely free of charge.

James said: "After CYD Innovation told my company about the situation, we didn't hesitate to help out.
"It's what we do, giving out support to the community."
The pair were thrilled to support someone who needed support this winter.
