A WREXHAM-based restaurant has confirmed new management will be taking over following an unexpected food hygiene rating.
The Red Lion Indian in Marford was disappointed to receive a low rating last week from the Food Standards Agency.
The venue received a rating of zero on October 31 which was published on the Food Standards Agency website last week.
In light of this, the restaurant owner has confirmed new management is taking over the establishment.
The spokesperson said: "The restaurant is under new management as of this week and will be undergoing a lot of changes.

"The restaurant is awaiting a new visit from Wrexham Environmental Health. The results will be published in due course."
Out of the 208 Wrexham-based establishments with ratings, 190 (91%) have been awarded the highest rating of five, and just one has zero.
Updates on the restaurant's progress will follow soon.
