A CHARITY in Wrexham is celebrating after being awarded more than £5,000 in funding.

Bradley Playgroup and Toddlers have been awarded £5,220 in funding from the Hafren Dyfrdwy Community Fund.

The charity, based in Bradley, Wrexham, will use the cash to assist with financial expenditure this coming year.

Bradley Playgroup and Toddlers is run by a Committee of 10 volunteers and three staff members, providing an essential service to the local community as a safe, secure and stimulating environment where children are able to access a wide variety of quality educational activities.

It provides an excellent opportunity for children to develop social skills and have an introduction to a structured educational routine before starting at their chosen nursery school.
