A COUPLE in Wrexham dubbed "Mr and Mrs Christmas" have once again put up a brilliant Christmas display in aid of charity.

Amanda Price and her husband Rich have been putting on incredible displays at their home in Hill Court for over 10 years.

Having started doing it for their children to enjoy, the pair have continued to go above and beyond at Christmas, and this year is no different.

As well as sharing joy with their neighbours, the display is also trying to raise funds for a local charity.

Amanda says they are raising money for "community hero" Paul Conway from the Candy and Tibby Trust, with hopes of helping him and the cat resuce charity with the work they do in Wrexham.

She said: "It all started around 16 years ago with just a handful of lights for our kids to see.

"When we moved to Hill Court 11 years ago our, new neighbours just got behind us and loved what we did every year, they now call us Mr and Mrs Christmas!

"It does make this time of year special. We have a granddaughter now too so that makes it all the more special.

"We chose Candy and Tibby because we love our animals, especially our cats. They always seem to be forgotten about as they are independent.

"Paul goes above and beyond for the colonies and feral cats around Wrexham with neutering and vet bills, he’s dedicated his life and finances to the cause.

"We really want to give him a helping hand and this is a way we can."

The display is on show from 5pm-9pm daily until January 2.
