PARTS of Flintshire and Wrexham have been hit with early evening power cuts.
While power has been restored in the Wrexham postcode areas according to SP Energy Network's interactive map, it is still off in parts of Flintshire such as Holywell, but is expected to be back later this evening.
An SP Energy Network spokesperson said: "There is a power cut affecting the CH8 postcode area of Holywell. We had no advance warning of this and first became aware of it at 5.21pm.
"Our control centre will attempt to restore your electricity supply remotely, and we will also send our next available engineers to the area to find and fix the fault as quickly and as safely as possible.
"We expect the power to be restored by 7.30pm. The latest updates can be found on our website www.spenergynetworks.co.uk. If you require any further help or support, please call us on 105. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
