NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 12 of Wrexham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Starbucks at Holt Road, Wrexham; rated on December 4
• Rated 5: Kettle Club at Opportunity Centre Hampden Way, Plas Madoc, Acrefair, Wrexham; rated on November 22
• Rated 5: Costa Outlet at Wrexham University Mold Road, Wrexham; rated on November 21
• Rated 5: Starbucks Outlet at Wrexham University Mold Road, Wrexham; rated on November 21
• Rated 5: Julia's at Club House Holt Road, Llan Y Pwll, Wrexham; rated on October 31
Takeaways
And seven ratings have been handed to takeaways:
• Rated 5: Fron pizza and kebab at Glenside Holyhead Road, Froncysyllte, Llangollen, Wrexham; rated on November 28
• Rated 5: Wing Hing at Wing Hing Hope Street Gwersyllt Wrexham, Wrexham; rated on November 28
