RESIDENTS of a Flintshire town wrapped up warm to watch a Christmas favourite in an open air cinema over the weekend.
The festivities officially unfolded in Holywell on Friday (November 24) as the Christmas lights were switched on.
An artisan market was held on that same day and Santa's float (organised by the Rotary Club) also passed through the town.
But one of the biggest highlights of the weekend was the Christmas move night which was set up on Sunday (November 26).
Guests were invited to 'bring a chair and wrap up warm' for the free outdoor film at the events area at Tower Gardens to enjoy the much-loved Christmas film 'Elf'.
The 2003 American Christmas comedy stars Will Ferrell as Buddy - a human raised by Santa's elves, who learns about his origins and heads to New York City to meet his biological father.
