• Ysgol Ty Ffynnon, Deeside
It was fun for a good cause, when the School Council organised a Pennies for Pudsey collection and a whole school Pyjama Day for Children in Need. Through the generosity of parents and pupils, they raised more than £430.
Member of the Senedd for Alyn and Deeside, Jack Sargeant, made a visit to school to see their new history timeline. He also sat with school council , who were able to ask him lots of interesting questions about his role as an MS.
Mr Sargeant said: "It was great to visit Ysgol Ty Ffynnon to see the hard work of pupils and teachers collating a timeline of Welsh history, from Owain Glyndwr to Shotton Steel, through to the creation of the school itself. Congratulations to all those who got involved, you should be extremely proud."
• Ysgol I D Hooson, Rhos
Pupils at the Wrexham school have been putting the spotlight on supporting others, with several events.
Children supported Children in Need, raising £234 and helped collect boxes for the Teams4U shoebox appeal.

• Golftyn CP School, Connah's Quay
