THANKS to funding, a Wrexham-based charity's Bike Swap is back in time for Christmas.
With funding from the Landfill Disposal Tax, administered by the Wales Council for Voluntary Action, Pedal Power's Bike Swap returns, offering the opportunity for children to have the right size bike this Christmas.
All ability cycling service Pedal Power, based at Alyn Waters Country Park in Wrexham, can help take the pressure off the cost of a new bike.
Buying the next size up bike for a child can be expensive, and Bike Swap offers families a free alternative. Families can donate unwanted or outgrown bikes to the Pedal Power Bike Swap service and exchange it for a larger model (if available).

All the bikes that are available for swapping have undergone a pre-delivery inspection by a qualified Cytec mechanic. Pedal Power is also offering a free helmet with all bike swaps.
Local families are being asked to get in touch with Pedal Power. Call 07908 325 508 and leave a message or send a message via the Contact Us page at cycling4all.org and a member of the Team will be in touch.

The aim of the Bike Swap is to help families struggling with the cost-of-living crisis and to stop unwanted bikes being sent to landfill unnecessarily.
If families don't have a bike to swap, please speak to the team to see how they can help.
• Cycling for All is a registered charity providing the all ability cycling service Pedal Power, based at Alyn Waters.
