A group of volunteer repair experts will be available to help make all possible repairs, free of charge.

People visiting the cafe are invited to bring along their broken items from home, including toasters, lamps, hair dryers, clothes, bikes, toys and crockery.

Anything broken is welcome and can usually be repaired by the volunteer specialists, who almost always have the necessary know-how.

Flint Town Hall Repair Café are seeking volunteer fixers to support their efforts to reduce the number of items going to landfill and to save people money.

You don’t need to be a professional fixer to get involved; all you need is to be confident, competent and happy to give your time to make a positive difference to the environment, and to your local community.
