A POPULAR Indian restaurant in Wrexham has received a top award.
Owner of Black Pepper's Indian Restaurant, Raju Ahmed, and head chef, Babul Hussain, attended the Asian Curry Awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House in Mayfair, London on Sunday, November 19.
There, they proudly received the 'Best Restaurant Award in North Wales 2023.'
There were four nominees from North Wales for the prize, including three based in Wrexham. A full list of the winners can be found here.
Black Pepper's, situated on York Street, opened in November 2011 and has become a well-loved restaurant in the city sourcing locally produced food.
Judges from the Asian Catering Federation (ACF), which organised the event, visited the candidates to determine the overall category winners.

Customers were delighted to read the news about the award on Facebook.
