RYAN REYNOLDS says he's 'so proud' of one of Wrexham AFC's stars who has graduated from university this week.
Goalkeeper Mark Howard has been undertaking a course in Professional Sports Writing and Broadcasting.
On November 14, he graduated with First Class Honours in from Staffordshire University.
The 37-year-old has spoken openly about pursuing a career in journalism on the second series of the Welcome to Wrexham documentary.
And he also runs the successful 'Yours, Mine, Away' podcast which has 7.5k followers on YouTube.
Posting to Instagram about graduating, Howard said: "What an amazing but surreal day celebrating my graduation.
"Couldn't have done it without the help and motivation from some special people along the way.
"It's been a very enjoyable couple of years whilst playing and enjoying my football, you're never too old to learn.

"I'm immensely proud to achieve a BA with Honours Professional Sports Writing and Broadcasting, First Class."
Wrexham AFC co-chairman Ryan Reynolds also took to Instagram to congratulate the player.
He said: "Huge news!! Congratulations to our Wrexham_afc GK, @markhoward.I.
"To do this while playing professional football and raising two kids is an immense accomplishment. So proud of you, pal."

Howards' club Wrexham AFC added: "Congratulations to Mark Howard, who graduated from Staffordshire University with First Class Honours in Professional Sports Writing and Broadcasting."
Shot-stopper Howard moved to Wrexham from Carlisle United in 2022.
Since then, he's made 38 league appearances for the Reds and was a vital part of the team which won the National League title last season.
