A FLINTSHIRE wedding photographer has snapped up two top titles at a national awards.
Richard Miller, from Connah's Quay, won Best Wedding Photographer in North Wales and Best Photographer in Wales at the weekend's Welsh National Wedding Awards in Swansea.
Based on client views, including value for money, quality of work and customer service, the 36-year-old has previously won Best in North Wales in 2019 and 2022 (the 2020 and 2021 awards were postponed due to the pandemic).
He made the shortlist of 25 photographers, and was presented with his awards by host and designer, David Emanuel.
Richard, who runs Richard Miller Photography, said: "Winning Best in Wales meant a lot as it was totally unexpected. It was a massive surprise, such a shock."
Before starting photography in 2013 and going full-time in 2016, Richard was an underwriter at a bank but now relishes his time capturing a couple's big day.

He said: "It was never the plan but I enjoyed going out into the Welsh mountains and doing the odd landscape photo here and there.
"Then friends were getting married and asked if I would do some photos, and it snowballed from there.
"There is a big responsibility but I roll with it on the day and try and get involved with people and try to enjoy the day with them. It is work but I get involved."
