A CONSULTATION has been launched regarding the future of a Flintshire doctor's surgery.
The consultation is surrounding the future of St Mark’s Dee View Surgery, based in The Quay Health Centre in Connah's Quay.
There are three options in the consultation - with the first proposing no change and would see Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board continuing to manage it.
The second option is to advertise it as a contract for potential GP partners to take over the running of it. Services would likely continue from the current premises but there would be some changes in management and in doctors and nurses providing them.
The third option is to disperse patients to other local practices.
Alyn and Deeside MP, Mark Tami, said it is "really important" that patients take part in the consultation.
