CHRISTMAS is now just around the corner, and with that, will come a number of events across the region to help celebrate the occasion.
Several Christmas light switch-ons are being planned throughout Flintshire to bring some festive cheer to the streets of its towns.
In Buckley, the lights will be illuminated on Saturday, November 25.
Guests are invited to attend the gathering at the events car park on Brunswick Road from 5.30pm that evening.
There will be a sing along with Emma B, as well as stalls, children's rides and plenty of refreshments.
And the main man himself, Santa will be on hand to switch the lights on there at 6.30pm!
Over in Mold, festivities will begin earlier with entertainment taking place from 3.30pm at Daniel Owen Square on Tuesday, November 28.
School choirs, Mold Town Band, Disney Princess Elsa, Spiderman and The Hulk will all be present, as well as food and gift stalls.
A fun fair will also take place on the high street between 3.30pm and 8pm that day.
Santa will then arrive for 6.25pm, five minutes before the 'Grand Switch' at 6.30pm.
The event in Connah's Quay will see a Christmas Fayre take place on Thursday, November 23.
Between 4pm and 6.30pm at the Civic Hall, guests can visit Santa's Grotto, as well as enjoy festive music, craft stalls, mince pines and mulled wine.
Meanwhile, in Holywell, there will be several ways to enjoy the Christmas celebrations on Friday, November 24.
There will be an artisan's market held on the high street all day and a DJ will be playing Christmas music between midday and 3.30pm.
Between 3.30pm and 5.10pm, children from local schools will be singing some festive tunes as Santa's float (organised by the Rotary Club of Flint and Holywell) makes its way through the town.
From 5.15pm, there will be a 'Fire, Elf and Grinch Christmas Show' before the lights are switched on at 6.15pm.

As of 6.30pm, 'Music 4 Youth Performances' will close what should be a memorable day for the town.
In Flint, a Christmas market will be taking place in the town centre from 10am onwards on Thursday, November 30.
There will be children singing from 5pm and the lights will then be switched on for 7pm before a two-minute firework display takes place.
Finally, in Bagillt, the lights switch on will take place on Monday, November 27.
Between 12pm and 7pm, there will be stalls, festive crafts and gifts, music and performances, fairground rides and so much more.
Santa and his float will be visiting and the lights will be switched on from 5.30pm at the Stag car park on the high street.
