WRESTLING fans can witness a spectacle to remember in Deeside this weekend - all in the name of charity.
After a highly successful 2023, boasting multiple sold out shows, Basix Pro Wrestling (BPW) is returning to its home town with its 'RUMBLE' event taking place live in the Connah’s Quay Civic Hall on Saturday (November 18).
The event will feature an American Style Royal Rumble main event as wrestlers battle it out for the Matty Edwards Memorial Trophy.
Also on the card is a four-person gauntlet match, title match mayhem and appearances from the likes of; Mid-Heavyweight Champion - Tony Bond, “The Welsh Dragon” Jonny Blaze, “The Raver” Andy Knoxx and the all action ace - Alfie Brooks.
Basix have once again teamed up with Cancer Research Shotton and Radio Deeside to raise much-needed funds for Cancer Research UK.
There will be a raffle offering some top prizes on the night and tickets to the event (which are now limited) can be bought here.

"We are offering a stacked show, filled with thrills, spills and non-stop adrenaline fuelled action, all with the family in mind. Our shows are always family friendly.
"We would also like to offer our thanks, to Connah’s Quay Town Council for their continued support and partnership in promoting local events featuring local wrestlers.”
Basix Wrestling, headed by Connah’s Quay’s own veteran wrestler, “Iron Man” Mike Roberts, also run a successful training school.
With over 37 years in the industry, Mike has put a number of top names out on the circuit and is constantly trying to do his bit to help give back to the wider community that has supported him and his company over the years.
