POLICE are investigating an assault on a woman outside Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
North Wales Police's Wrexham City team is appealing for information following the alleged incident that took place on Croesnewydd Road, outside the Maelor Hospital, at 6.15pm on September 28.
It is alleged the victim was walking along the pavement when a man in a bus shelter, opposite the ambulance entrance to the hospital, assaulted her.

Detective Constable Simon Letch said: “We believe this was an isolated incident and would like to reassure the community that incidents of this nature are rare.
“We understand another person, believed to be an elderly male, was standing near the bus shelter at the time of the incident and may have witnessed what happened.

“Anyone with information that could assist with our investigation is also urged to get in touch.”
