AFTER 15-years of service, the M&S Food Cafe in Wrexham has shut ahead of the store's closure.
While the store will remain open until November 30, the much-loved M&S cafe in Eagles Meadow closed on Saturday, November 4.
Announcing the news on their Facebook page, an M&S spokesperson said: "We've loved every minute of serving our brilliant customers over the years, and we look forward to seeing you in our shiny new Simply Food store."
One customer replied and said: "A sad day for Wrexham Town centre, the cafe and its staff will be missed by so many."
While another said: "So sad, end of an era but you’re all fabulous and positive and the new store will be fantastic I’m sure."
Despite the sad closure of the Eagles Meadow store, M&S will be opening a new foodhall situated in Plas Coch's Retail Park on December 1.

M&S has confirmed there will not be a cafe in the new store, but will still deliver the highest quality food and service Wrexham customers know and love.
It will also employ over 120 people from the local area, including those from the Eagles Meadow store who wish to relocate.
Loyal customers were quick to express their sadness over the cafe's closure this week but are eager to see the new store.
