WREXHAM residents are being urged to 'check their bin day' as normal services are expected to resume this week.
Seven weeks of strikes carried out by Wrexham Council workers had led to 'major disruption' to services before a deal was struck at the end of last month.
That included bin collections, with residents raising concerns over their rubbish piling up.
Since the deal was agreed, Wrexham Council has stated that normal services should resume as of this week (November 6-10).

The latest update from Wrexham Council reads: "From Monday 6 November our refuse collection dates will return to normal collections schedules including garden waste collections.
"In order to ensure you don’t miss a collection please check your bin day on our website and/or sign up to receive an email the day before your waste collections are due advising you of what needs to be out by 7.30am.
"Garden waste subscriptions will run until the end of February 2025. Plas Madoc and Lodge Household Waste Recycling Centres will resume seasonal opening hours on Monday 6 November."
