A FLINTSHIRE salon has been nominated for a prize at the Welsh Beauty Industry Awards this weekend.
The Wow Company (previously Wow Hair Salon) has been shortlisted for the five-star Hair Salon of the Year award.
The awards evening is set to take place in Cardiff on Sunday (November 5) and salon owner Lisa Davies can't wait for the event.
The salon, located in Buckley, has gone through some expansion in the past year, including moving shops and increasing staff numbers.
Lisa also completed a charity fundraiser in aid of Macmillan earlier this year, following her dad's cancer diagnosis.

With the fundraiser and the award, it has been a 'special' year for Lisa and the Wow Company.
She said: "It’s a huge honour to be shortlisted for this award, after our hugely successful fundraiser in May for Macmillan and now the new salon.
"I’m so proud of my team and we have such loyal clients that have supported us over the years.
"We’re so excited for Sunday and it’s created such a buzz in the salon."
