A MAIN road near Wrexham has been reopened following a road traffic collision this morning (October 31).
Heavy traffic built up on the A525 near Redbrook, between Bangor on Dee and Whitchurch.
The road was closed both ways with heavy congestion in the area.
Traffic reports stated: "Road closed and queueing traffic due to crash on A525 both ways from Whitewell Road to Ellesmere turn off.
"Affecting traffic between Whitchurch and Bangor-on-Dee."
The road was reopened at around 10.30am.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "Shortly before 7am this morning, we received a report of a two vehicle RTC on Wrexham Road, Whitchurch.
"The road was blocked as a result but has since been cleared.
"No serious injuries were reported."
