A YOUNG footballer from Flintshire has sadly passed away leaving the community completely devastated.
Kai Davies, 22, from Mostyn, died on Sunday, October 22, leaving family, friends and the community completely heartbroken.
Kai had lived in Mostyn, Flintshire, his whole life and played football from a very young age.
He leaves behind his mum Louise, dad Phil and brother Brandan.
Playing for Holywell Town FC throughout his youth, Kai recently started playing for Greenfield FC where he made an incredible impact on the club and community.
The Flintshire team paid a touching tribute to their former player with a minute's silence before their game against Rhyl FC on Saturday, (October 28) at Belle Vue.

Greenfield FC is offering support to all those who knew Kai, including players at their Youth Club who are devastated by the shocking loss to the team.
Tony Roberts at Greenfield FC said: "We received the tragic news that former player Kai Davies sadly passed away recently.
"Everyone at the club would like to express their sincere condolences to Kai's family and friends at this time. Rest in peace Kai."
On their website, a spokesman for Rhyl FC said: "Prior to the match a minute’s silence was impeccably observed by all in attendance in memory of Kai Davies, Kai loved his football playing from an early age at Greenfield and was a talented player.
"Kai was a funny, loving, caring young man with a big personality who was liked by everyone he met. Gone to soon but will be forever remembered and missed."
