AN INJURED man was rescued by firefighters from the River Dee in Llangollen.
Llangollen Fire Station said the crew got called at 5.34pm on Saturday to a man who had fallen in the river with an injury.
Due to the injury which the man had sustained, he was unable to get out of the water and had been in it for "some time".
Crews utilised water rescue equipment and PPE and safely brought the man to safety.
A spokesperson said: "Being a retained firefighter is more than going to fires, we attend a range of incidents any time or day."
