MOTORISTS have been urged to watch their speed after some were clocked doing more than 80mph on a Wrexham road.
North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team conducted speed checks over the Llan-y-Pwll Link road on Sunday afternoon.
A spokesman for the team said: "Most of the vehicles checked over a 30 minute period kept within the designated speed limit with a few slightly exceeding it.

"Three vehicles of note however clearly broke the limit - registering 81 in third place, 84 in second place and the highest speeder came in with a total of 89.
"Please stay mindful of your speed whilst driving. Halloween is only two days away.
"We hope all broomsticks have 20mph limiters on them... for safety reasons."
