POLICE officers seized a vehicle that was on the way to the airport to pick up passengers on Thursday night (October 26).
North Wales Police say their officers were out on patrol on the A483 in the area of Wrexham when they spotted the vehicle heading northbound.
Checks carried out revealed that the vehicle was not insured and had no valid MOT on it.
Officers then stopped and seized it, with the driver also given a Traffic Offence Report at the scene.

The driver had been on the way to pick up passengers from Liverpool Airport at the time, police say.
A statement from the NWP Wrexham Rural team on the incident read: "Whilst out on patrol, Rota 1 Officers sighted this vehicle on the A483 northbound. Checks show the vehicle was not insured and had no valid MOT.
"The vehicle was stopped and seized and the driver given a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) for these offences.
"The male driver was on his way to Liverpool Airport to pick up passengers - unfortunately for those passengers, they will have to make the most of airport arrivals for a little while longer."
