A FLINTSHIRE father and son are being celebrated for their talent after winning a British Farming Award.
Matthew and David Roberts, two farmers from Ty Draw Farm in Flintshire, have won a British Farming Award.
On Thursday, October 19 it was announced that the father-son duo had achieved the Sheep Farmer of the Year Silver Award after being shortlisted as finalists earlier this month.
Matthew said: "We would like to thank everyone who has congratulated us with kind messages.
"We feel very honoured to receive the sliver award at the British farming awards in the 'best sheep farmer' category.
"As a family farm it makes us feel very proud."

The aim for the father and son duo is to ensure their business remains sustainable in the long term and reducing costs by growing better grasses along with red clover leys to produce better quality silage.
Now in its 11th year, the British Farming Awards is the industry’s leading event showcasing hundreds of British food and drink producers undertaking fantastic work across the sector.
The awards, which are sponsored by Morrisons, also highlight some of the most sophisticated technology leading to some of the industry’s most exciting initiatives in food production and management.
