WREXHAM'S executive director has lifted the lid on all things Wrexham in an interview with a BBC podcast.
Humphrey Ker has become a familiar face to fans of the club since being appointed to that role following the takeover by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in early 2021.
He has been one of the stars of the hugely-popular Welcome to Wrexham documentary and is often called upon to reveal some of the goings on behind the scenes at Wrexham.
And that has continued this week as Humphrey sat down with the Scotland-based 'Sacked in the Morning' podcast fronted by Amy Irons and Craig Levein.
Discussing the club's star owners, he said: "Rob and Ryan's enthusiasm for this is infectious and it's very real. Anyone that ends up speaking to them works out quickly 'oh, this is, like, these guys are genuine and they're not messing around and this isn't just a big prank or whatever'.
"We're all just into it, we love it, we're obsessed with it, we want to be part of it. It's not a play thing, its not a toy, its not something we're doing for the laughs."

Humphrey also spoke about how It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Rob was influential in bringing current manager Phil Parkinson into the club, despite initially being 'anti-football'.
He says that he persuaded Rob to take an interest in the beautiful game during the Covid-19 pandemic, urging him to watch the 'Sunderland Till I Die' documentary.
Humphrey added: "I think that just blew his mind because it showed the relationships we have in the UK with our football teams. He watched it, he loved it and he said, as is natural, we should buy a football team.
"You know like when you watch Great British Bake Off and think we should buy a bakery? That's basically what he did."

Discussing the owners and their ambitions for the club, Humphrey said: "If we can establish ourselves in the Championship, we'd be very happy with that. That said, Rob and Ryan's ambition is to get into the Premier League.
"The idea of Wrexham beating out a Norwich or a Sunderland to make that jump would be an achievement but we are aspiring to it.
"Every single one of our players have Rob and Ryan's phone numbers. They text them, they message them, they see them, they come into the dressing room."
Humphrey also revealed that the WhatsApp chats between those at the top at Wrexham AFC have extended from the football itself and designing new kits to moving a sewer during the building of the new Kop.
Humphrey said: "We're all basically fans, who have been allowed to run a football club to a certain extent."
Mentioning the impact of Rob and Ryan's takeover on the community, he added: "We get dozens and dozens of people from overseas a day coming to the Racecourse.
"I remember talking to the publican Wayne Jones who runs The Turf in December of last year, and he said they were getting 60 to 70 Americans a day coming to the Turf.
"Americans, Australians, Brazilians, we have had people from all over the place coming."
Discussing the club's kit sale, he said: "(We've sold) 35,000 this season already and ordered another 20,000 in time for Christmas which is Championship level club selling figures."
