Police confirm that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the “unexpected death” of a man at a Wrexham housing estate following an incident last night (October 23).
North Wales Police and the Welsh Ambulance service (WAST) were at the scene in the Pentre Gwyn area of Caia Park.
WAST later confirmed that they had been called to the incident at 6.18pm where they had sent two emergency ambulances and the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service to the scene.
The area remains cordoned off today (October 24) with a police presence in the area.
A spokesperson from North Wales Police said: “We remain in attendance at a property in Pentre Gwyn, Wrexham, following an unexpected death of a 40-year-old man.
“The coroner has been informed and we are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.”
