THE BODY of man was pulled out from the River Dee in Wrexham, police have said.
Shortly after 5.30pm on Friday (October 20), a member of the public notified emergency services of a body in the river near Bangor-on-Dee.
Police and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service subsequently attended the scene and sadly, the body of an adult male was recovered from the water, North Wales Police said on Monday.
A spokesperson said: "Initial assessment at the scene indicated that the man had been deceased for some time, and the event was not linked to the recent severe weather.
"At this stage, the death is not being treated as suspicious and the Coroner has been informed."
