A FLOOD warning remains in place along the River Dee after Storm Babet.
Communities across Flintshire and Wrexham suffered flooding during a day of persistent heavy rainfall on Friday.
Many schools in Flintshire were forced to close, and some suffered flood-related damage. Many main roads in the area were flooded, with some motorists forced to abandon their vehicles.

On Monday morning, a Natural Resources Wales flood warning and alerts remain in place in areas along the River Dee.
The warning covers River Dee communities from Llangollen to Trevalyn Meadows, and there are alerts for Bangor-on-Dee and the Lower Dee Catchment area.
There are also alerts for the River Alyn at Rossett, and the Alyn Catchment (areas around the river Alyn from Llandegla to Rossett).
