POLICE have confirmed that a person sadly died on the railway line between Flint and Prestatyn.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Sunday afternoon.
On Monday morning, police confirmed that a fatality occurred on the line.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to the line between Flint and Prestatyn at 3.16pm following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended but sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene, officers are working to identify the casualty and inform their next of kin.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
