A TRIO of Wrexham pupils have been praised after coming to the aid of a woman who had collapsed in Wrexham.
Archie Day, Liberty Edwards and Cairon Williams – year 10 pupils at Ysgol Clywedog, came rushing to the aid of a woman at Eagles Meadow last week.
After a woman collapsed, the trio called an ambulance and stayed by the woman's side as a member of the public placed her in the recovery position.
Ysgol Clywedog headteacher, Alberto Otero, said: "Seeing young people growing and developing into kind, considerate adults is as important as the academic side and is what education should be about.
"It is also pleasing to see teenagers getting the good press they deserve. What our students have done epitomises that, and we at Ysgol Clywedog are all very proud of them."
