A RESIDENT in Flintshire has been spotted using an alternative method of transport amid floods caused by Storm Babet.
The storm hit North East Wales hard on Friday, causing several roads to be closed as well as a number of communities flooding.
Sandycroft was a victim of Storm Babet, with homes and road severely flooded.
With a number of road closures in place and cars unable to get around, one resident took matters into his own hands.

Brilliant CCTV footage from a home in Sandycroft has caught a man casually kayaking up a flooded road in the Flintshire village.
As Storm Babet came to a close early this morning, the worst of the weather appears to have passed.
There are however still road closures in place and a number of train services remain affected.
