A CREATIVE artist from Flintshire has won the Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award.
Jessica Humphreys, a talented artist from Mold, enjoys photography as a hobby, mainly focusing on wildlife, nature and landscape images.
After submitting a wonderful entry of a fox back in August to Amateur Photographer magazine, she has been awarded the 'Young Amateur Photographer of the Year' award 2023 in the wildlife category.
Jessica, 20, said: "I set my camera up at sunset and waited in the hope of seeing a fox appear by the water.
"After waiting long into the early hours I was eventually rewarded when this individual walked right up to the water edge, creating the perfect reflection as it gazed into the distance, observing its surroundings."
Using her trusty Nikon D850, Jessica captured the perfect image, despite finding the lighting a challenge in the moment.

The annual amateur photographer awards was sponsored by MPB, a photo and video kit company, for the third year running.
Artists are encouraged to submit their entries for the chance to win monthly prizes and exposure in the Amateur Photographer magazine, the UK's biggest-selling publication.
Over 600 images were submitted for the category, making the award even more special.
