A POPULAR fast-food chain has confirmed that one of its Flintshire sites will close for good next week.
Pizza Hut has announced that its store on the Deeside Retail Park in Queensferry will close on Saturday, October 28.
That comes following the news that one of its other restaurants at Central Retail Park in Wrexham is also set to close - with that one being taken over by McDonalds.
The decision comes in 'response to an ever-shifting consumer landscape', a spokesperson for Pizza Hut said.

A Pizza Hut UK & Europe spokesperson said: “We can confirm that our Deeside Retail Park Hut, located in Queensferry, will permanently close on October 28.
"Responding to an ever-shifting consumer landscape, our business and operating models are evolving. We are confident in the ongoing success of one of Britain’s favourite businesses, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
"In the meantime, our customers can continue to enjoy their favourite slice of pizza in nearby Rhyl, or order from our website."
