A WREXHAM community hub worker was "overwhelmed" by a homeless man's kind gesture inspiring her to give back to those in need.
The Wrexham community hub 'Yellow and Blue' was set up by Peter Humphreys back in 2017 and has continued to grow and inspire ever since.
It benefits local residents by providing food and a space for struggling individuals and families, the isolated and the homeless.
Mandy Hutchinson, 45, transferred to Wrexham's Yellow and Blue community hub in July after the news that her previous role at Eagles Meadow's M&S would be coming to an end.
Last week, she was incredibly touched when a regular homeless gentleman assisted her in tidying up the building before leaving a handful of quality street chocolates for her on the table.
She said: "It really touches my heart that everybody is made to feel welcome and cared for here at YaB.
"I was so overwhelmed and touched by this homeless man's kindness last week. Not just in helping me tidy up but the kind gifts of the chocolates.
"A moment I will never forget - a man who has nothing but gives what little he can."
For the homeless, workers and volunteers at the hub always try and provide hot meals and shelter throughout the day. They also signpost them to relevant organisations if they accept it.

Owner Peter Humphreys checks on known homeless individuals to the hub and provides them with clean clothes, sleeping bags, food, dog food and water whenever he can to make sure they're okay.
Many of their customers also use the 'pay it forward' scheme to people in need.
Mandy, alongside the other workers at YaB, encourage Wrexham residents to direct anyone struggling to their door where they will receive the appropriate care and respect.
