THE funeral arrangements of a former Evening Leader deputy editor have now been confirmed.
Tributes poured in last week to 'old school journalist' Les Chamberlain, 90, who died peacefully at home on October 7 following a short battle with illness.
Mr Chamberlain was born in Aberystwyth in 1933, and began his career in journalism on the Cambrian News. He spent time on the Nottingham Evening Post, Birmingham Mail and the Coventry Evening Telegraph before moving to Wrexham to join the Evening Leader.

He was described as a 'devoted husband', to his late wife Carol, and was the 'kindest and funniest' dad to children Gethin and Delyth.
Mr Chamberlain's funeral will take place at St Giles Parish Church, Wrexham at 10am on October 31.
The family have requested there to be no flowers at the service and donations will go to the Alzheimer's Society in memory of Carol Chamberlain.
