THE WREXHAM Legends are set to play another charity match to raise crucial funds for a very special cause.
The team will be taking on Senseless FC (Emi's Xl) on Sunday, October 29 to raise funds for Alder Hey and Bangor Hospital.
Taking place at Flint Town United FC, (kick-off 2pm) the match is in honour of Nicky John's daughter, Emi, who has been battling kidney cancer from a young age.
Nicky, an S4C presenter, is asking that the funds raised go directly to the oncology unit at Alder Hey and the paediatric oncology team at Ysbyty Gwynedd as Emi has been receiving ongoing treatment there.
She has since confirmed that the cheeky two-year-old has finally finished her treatment ahead of the Wrexham Legends match.

On Twitter, Nicky said: "Thank you to everyone involved with arranging the game.
"What an honour to have a game arranged in Emi's name to fundraise for both Alder Hey and Ysbyty Gwynedd, without whom, life could have been very different right now."
Neil Ashton and Lee Fowler have been announced as the first players confirmed to play for the Legends.
Admission fees are £5 for adults, £2.50 for children £10 for a family of four which all contributes to the fundraiser. A donations page can be accessed here.

Jon Morris, club chairman, said: "We play games every month but we felt as though it was time for a redesign of the badge."
Wrexham Legends members are all former players of the iconic club helping local charities and businesses to raise crucial funds and awareness.
