A Cefn Mawr artist is extending his debut exhibition such is its success.
Due to popular request, portrait artist Jonny Garret has extended the Famous Faces Exhibition at the Ebenezer in Cefn Mawr Square for another week.
The opening night on October 6 was hugely successful with many guests attending the event.
Jonny, 33, from Cefn Mawr, has shown an interest in art since his time at school. He went on to achieve a National Diploma in Art & Design at Yale College before obtaining a Designs Communication degree from Wrexham University, formely named Glyndwr.
David Metcalfe, of Ebenezer Gallery, said: "Jonny Garret is a very talented local artist.
"He said in a previous press article that he would like a gallery to display in, so we got in touch with him and now hope other galleries will do the same."

Jonny's portraits are all of familiar faces, mainly singers, actors, artists and sportspeople.
From Marilyn Monroe and Amy Winehouse to Elvis, Jonny used oil and acrylic paint in both colour and black and white to achieve his masterpieces.
The exhibition is open 12pm until 2pm daily, except Sunday, October 15, and will conclude on Friday, October 20.
