WELSH MUSIC icon Dafydd Iwan will be performing his most famous song at the STok Cae Ras tonight (October 11).
Wales will be taking on Gibraltar in a friendly at Wrexham AFC's home ground.
That will be the first international football match held at the ground since a 1-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago back in March 2019, when Ben Woodburn scored a late winner.
And the occasion has been made all the more exciting with the announcement this week that Iwan will be performing 'Yma O Hyd' ahead of the match.
The song itself has become synonymous with the men's football team in particular in recent times.

The legendary Welsh singer performed the iconic hit along with the 33,000 spectators before that famous 1-0 victory over Ukraine at the Cardiff City Stadium last year - which saw Wales qualify for their first World Cup in 64 years.
The song then shot up to the top of the ITunes charts as a result of being stuck in (nearly) every Welsh person's head!
Fans are being encouraged to arrive at the STok Cae Ras early tonight to sing along.
Confirming the news of his arrival in Wrexham, the Football Association of Wales said: "Bydd @DafyddIwan yn canu Yma o Hyd yn y Cae Ras cyn ein gêm yn erbyn Gibraltar.

'Yma O Hyd' - which translates to 'Still Here' in English - was originally released in 1981.
It tells the story of how Welsh people, the language and its culture has survived more than 2,000 years and has become the unofficial anthem for the Wales football team lately.
Wales will take on Gibraltar tonight (7.45pm kick-off) before facing Croatia in a EURO qualifier at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday, October 15.
