Temperatures remain unseasonably warm today (Monday, October 9) but are set to cool later this week in Wrexham and Flintshire.
Following warm weather over the weekend, according to the Met Office temperatures remain higher than normal today.
The forecast for today across Wales is as follows: “Mist and fog lifting into low cloud and generally clearing to leave another bright and unseasonably warm day for most with hazy sunny spells. Possibly staying murky in some coastal areas in the west. Winds staying light. Maximum temperature 21 °C.”
Tonight, the Met Office predicts: “Remaining dry with clear periods at first overnight but an increasing chance of low cloud, mist and fog. This developing in many coastal areas, and perhaps moving inland later. Minimum temperature 13 °C.”

Tuesday is set for another unseasonably warm day, with the forecast being: “A gloomy start for many but slowly brightening up for most with some hazy sunshine. Perhaps staying grey and murky in some coastal areas. Another unseasonably warm day. Turning breezier. Maximum temperature 19 °C.”
From Wednesday to Friday, temperatures are set to drop, with rain predicted in areas.
The outlook is as follows “Turning much more changeable. Rain, heavy and persistent in places on Wednesday and Friday. Drier on Thursday with a few sunny intervals. Not as warm as of late.”
