WITNESSES and footage are being sought after police received several reports of damage in Gresford over the weekend.
North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team issued an appeal on Sunday, stating the incidents have taken place overnight between October 7 and 8.
A spokesman said: "Unfortunately we have had a number of reports of criminal damage, mainly to vehicles, around Narrow Lane and Pant Lane and surrounding streets overnight.
"PCSOs are in the area obtaining further information, as soon as it is available we will publish it. As ever we thank the public for their help and assistance and hope to ID the suspects as soon as possible."

The statement was followed up by a further appeal on Monday morning, in which a spokesman for the team explained: "We are interested in obtaining any CCTV or photos of any persons in the area from midnight to 6:00 am.
"The incidents have created interest on social media so if anyone has posted information on social media rather than contact the police please make us aware of what you know.
"If you have any CCTV or photos of any potential suspect please, or have any information that you feel could be of assistance, contact PC 2403 Adam Griffiths at adam.griffiths@northwales.police.uk"
