A POPULAR Flintshire pub and restaurant is closed until next month for building works.
The Fat Boar, Mold, will be closed until early November, the chain's director has confirmed.
Richard Watkin, director of Bardonrich Ltd which runs the Fat Boar, told The Leader: "We’ve got the builders arriving on site this week, we’ve been trading for eight years in the building so there’s some urgent bits that need some tlc (tender loving care).
"Given it’s a quiet time we’ve decided to press the button on it a little earlier than we expected. The plan is to be closed for a few weeks with a re-opening in early November."
Mr Watkin said more information, including on existing bookings, will be released soon.
The Fat Boar, Wrexham remains open.
