A NUMBER of roads in Flintshire are set for resurfacing works.
Flintshire Council said that funding has been secured to carry out carriageway resurfacing works on 10 roads in the county.
To facilitate the works, road closures together with signed diversion routes, will be in place to ensure the safety of the workforce engaged in this operation and highway users.
The dates, times and traffic management details are as follows:
- Manor Lane, Hawarden (From Little Roodee to the B5125 Roundabout). Works start on Tuesday, October 10 for 2 weeks. Road closure will be in place between 7pm and 5am.
- A548 Flint (From A5119 Aber Road Junction to the Manor Industrial Estate Junction) - westbound. Works start on Monday, October 16 for 2 weeks. Road closure will be in place between 7pm and 5am.
- A5119 Aber Road, Flint. Works start on Wednesday, October 18 for 2 weeks. Road closure will be in place between 7pm and 5am.
- A549 Chester Road, Buckley (From Willowdale Care Home to the Natural Resources Wales Depot). Works starts on Monday, October 30 for one week. Road closure will be in place between 8am and 6pm.
- Brook Street, Mold. Works start on Wednesday, November 1 for one week. Road closure will be in place between 8am and 6pm.
- Drury Lane (From the Horse and Jockey PH to Mount Pleasant Road). Works start on Thursday, November 2 for one week. Road closure will be in place between 8am and 6pm.
- Henffordd, Nercwys. Works start on Thursday, November 2 for one week. Road closure will be in place between 8am and 6pm.
- Ffordd Las, Cymau. Works start on Thursday, November 2 or one week. Road closure will be in place between 8am and 6pm.
- Ffordd y Pentre, Nercwys (From Ffordd Plas Ucha to Terrig Bridge). Works start on Friday, November 3 for one week. Road closure will be in place between 8am and 6pm.
- Llanasa Road, Gronant (From the top of Gronant Hill to Pentre Lane). Works start on Monday, November 6 for one week. Road closure will be in place between 8am and 6pm.

Flintshire Council said the contractor will make every effort to keep to the days and times given, but it may be necessary to vary these in the event of poor weather or other adverse circumstances.
Access to individual properties and businesses will be maintained, although short delays may be encountered.
Flintshire County Council and the appointed contractor Tarmac Trading Ltd have apologised for any delay or disruption that may be caused as a consequence of the work.
