A PERSON was taken to hospital after a crash on a main road in Wrexham this morning (October 4).
The incident happened on the A534, between Holt and Llan-y-pwll at around 7am, and involved a car and a motorbike.
One lane was reportedly blocked, but reopened at about 9am. Residual congestion remained in the area until about 9.30am.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called this morning (October 4) shortly before 7am to reports of a road traffic collision on the A534 in Wrexham.
"We sent one emergency ambulance to the scene and one person was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital for further treatment.”
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 7.15am this morning to report a two-vehicle collision involving a car and a motorbike on Llan-Y-Pwll road, Wrexham.
"The road was closed whilst emergency services attended which subsequently resulted in one man being taken to hospital.
"The road was reopened at 9am."
