A MAN was released by firefighters after a collision left a car on its side.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 6.43am on Monday reporting a one vehicle collision in Drury Lane, Drury.
A spokesman said firefighters attended the scene to find the car on its side and used an electric saw, as well as other tools, to release a man from the vehicle.
The incident was declared over at 7.18am and the crew has since left the scene.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.47am to reports of a one-vehicle road traffic collision on Drury Lane.
“We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene, where the crew were supported by a Cymru High Acuity Response Unit and an operations manager.
“One person was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital."
